Terry Fox

Our Terry Fox campaign is coordinated with the national campaign and all the proceeds go directly to cancer research. The National School Run Day for Terry Fox was on Friday, September 28th. With the help and support of the William E. Brown students and community we were able to raise over $1500.00 for this worthy cause.

Heart and Stroke Foundation/MS Read-a-thon

These charities are supported by our students and their families on a yearly rotating basis. In the 2007/2008 school year we are supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation by participating in Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart. In 2008/2009 we will again be supporting Multiple Sclerosis by participating in the Read-a Thon.

Local Fund Raising

When ever a family falls upon some misfortune or unexpected medical bills the school community and our Student Council rallies and comes to the aid. Students will have an activity to raise money and donate it to a worthy cause. Whenever such causes are not evident monies raised will be donated to local charities or food banks.
